CAME BPT UK are a constantly growing forward thinking company that has success and ambition at its heart and as a result, are seeking to recruit a Temporary Sales Administrator to join the Internal Sales Team at our new Castle Donington office.

Although this role is initially for a period of up to 12 months to cover Maternity leave, it could lead to a full time permanent position, for the right candidate.

The Role:

Reporting to the Sales Office Manager. We are looking for somebody to join our internal sales team, for who really thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be a strong team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail and an enthusiasm to learn. Strong experience in a sales office or call centre environment is essential. As a business to business company, developing good ongoing relationships with our repeat customer base and providing exceptional customer service is vital for our continued success.

This role requires competent PC skills with the ability to learn I.T. systems quickly, Sage or equivalent ERP experience is desirable. You must be able to work under pressure without compromising your attention to detail or quality of work. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to maintain consistently high standards of work, with a willingness to contribute within a friendly, dynamic team environment and a desire to learn the technical characteristics of the company products and services.

Key aspects of the role:

  • To provide first line customer telephone sales support
  • To prepare customer quotations in relation to all CAME BPT products
  • To process customer orders whether over the phone, via email or through sales leads /quotations
  • Demonstrate the capability to work within a pro-active sales focussed team
  • Confidence in making outbound customer calls
  • Maintain a professional and high level of excellent customer service in all situations
  • Taking responsibility for resolving customer queries through to resolution

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A “whatever it takes” attitude with a willingness to contribute to a friendly, dynamic team environment
  • The ability to take responsibility in dealing with all aspects of customer service
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • An understanding of our sales process and what makes customers buy our products and services
  • Good IT skills, with experience in using quote/order/call logging software
  • An eye for detail and accuracy in all areas
  • A desire to learn the technical characteristics of the company’s products and services (On-going training will be given to the successful candidate.)
  • Ability to work under pressure and as a part of a team

Although the role is initially based around a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. For the right candidate we would be willing to consider a flexible working arrangement.  Our core hours being between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.
